Revenge Porn is – as of now a specific offence. And as a society, we are getting better at recognising it. But Newsnight has uncovered something even more sinister going on in communities in Britain where the honour of women is deemed paramount. We found and spoke to individuals who have deliberately been groomed for financial gain. Many of these women enter into relationships they deem safe but are then tricked into taking videos and photos of themselves as part of a pre-meditated plan to use honour and shame codes against them, with devastating consequences. Katie Razzall and her producer Yasminara Khan have been investigating.
